FractalDesign.net

The images that are displayed here are true fractals in the sense that they have not been image processed except for the choice of color palette. Most are Julia sets but there are also a few examples of cellular automata. They were made with software that I have been developing over the last few years. I tend to prefer simple but unusual images that remind me of something in the real world in a collective unconscious kind of way. Some of these images may be more interesting because they are strange than being asthetically pleasing but I have been avoiding those that look like the more common fractals. Visit my site, www.fractaldesign.net for more unusual images.
